1. Heathenreel is the first album from Italian folk/power metal band Elvenking and in my opinion it remains their best release, being one of the few albums that I feel is really worth a perfect score regardless of whatever rounding system is being used (which is what makes most albums I rate get a full 10/10 points), but for me there is no doubt that Heathenreel is worth full marks, even though.

3. Jul 23,  · The Japanese edition also includes a remake of "Skywards", originally released on the album Heathenreel. Although Elvenking's website says otherwise, instead of "The Wanderer" being a digipack bonus track, it's "My Little Moon"/5(15).

5. ELVENKING - HEATHENREEL - CD Go Unlimited Try now I'm not saying it's bad, it's very good. It's just the one with the less personality. Other tracks worth a mention are Skywards (this one is really slow until the end where it breaks down into one of the greatest song endings), Conjuring of the 14th (that successfully recreates the mood of a /5(19).

8. First time on CD (does any one know why?). This was the last album the band recorded for A&M. On the heels of Ghosts it came across as a bit of disappointment at the time although I think time treated it well. John Hawken had left the band and he was replaced by a series of keyboard session players including Rick Wakeman and Tommy Eyre.
