May 30,  · The album included some incredible songs which, unfortunately, still remain rarities when it comes to a Def Leppard concert setlist: “All I Want Is Everything” featured some of Joe Elliott’s best songwriting and vocals; the same can be said for “Where Does Love Go When It Dies” and “Blood Runs Cold” (which Joe co-wrote with Phil Collen).

6. Mar 23,  · An album everybody seemed to hate back in the day and later recognised as one of Def Leppard's standout records that holds up better than most other artists' similar adventures into new territories. Sure, Slang can't reach the hight of Pyromania or Hysteria but it /5().

7. Slang holds a weird place in Def Leppard's extensive catalog of albums across the decades. It was an album I embraced and respected them for doing something different and doing it well. Now most other fans (who I know) never seemed to like Slang. The first disc is the core album with a few new tracks/5().

8. This album marks a departure from Def Leppard's lush hard rock sound and more towards grunge, and it did alienate parts of Def Leppard's fanbase. They reverted to their signature sound with next album "Euphoria", and pretty much ignore "Slang" when compiling setlists.
